Ethernet cables (RJ45) for data communication is the most prevalent wired communication technology used in military, industry and home applications.

EMP surges that occur over data lines can lead to data corruption, delay in transmission or equipment damage in the long run.

EMP Surge Protectors are HEMP filters installed on data lines that help to isolate the equipment from the external EMP threats.

These filters are designed to withstand all the E1, E2 and E3 pulse types. These components are subjected to the PCI test and must match the shielding effectiveness as stated in MIL-STD-188-125.
