Power over Ethernet (PoE) is an integrated technology that allows the use of data communication network cables to carry power along with data and voice.
POE allows low power networked devices such as IP Cameras, IP Telephones, Wireless LAN access points to receive power from the standard CAT5 Network Cable.
This helps in minimising cable laying and maintenance cost. It also helps to reduce the number of cable inlet/outlet ports on devices.
HEMP Ethernet line filters with POE are designed to withstand all the E1, E2 and E3 pulse types. These components are subjected to the PCI test and must match the shielding effectiveness as stated in MIL-STD-188-125.

What EMIS Offers
EMIS offers a range of Power Over Ethernet (PoE) EMP Surge Protectors. They are designed, tested and manufactured to meet all the requirements of MIL –STD-188-125-1 and IEC 61000-6-2 standards.
Ethernet Filters do not cause any impact on the network performance or increase hop counts.
The MIL connector which is used in the PoE EMP protector gives 360 degree shielding.
