Co-axial cables for data communication is one of the preferred wired communication technologies used in military, industry and home applications. Co-axial cables are commonly used as telephone trunk lines, broadband internet networking cables, high speed computer data bus, cable television signals and connecting radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas.
EMP surges that occur over these co-axial lines can lead to data corruption, delay in transmission or equipment damage in the long run.
EMP Surge Protectors are HEMP filters installed on these lines that help to isolate the equipment from the external EMP threats.
These filters are designed to withstand all the E1, E2 and E3 pulse types. These components are subjected to the PCI test and must match the shielding effectiveness as stated in MIL-STD-188-125.

These Filter are classified under unrestricted lines of Intra-site of MIL STD- 188-125-1 of data and tested for the same. They meets the insertion loss requirements and provide protection at every pair.
The Filters are designed in the bulk head which gives complete isolation between unprotect and protected sides.
MIL circular connectors are provided at the input side of the filters which helps in easy termination and protection.
